Screen Wexford

In keeping with the government’s ambition to enable Ireland to become a global hub for productions of film, TV drama and animation Wexford County Council commissioned a research project in 2019 to look at developing the film industry in Wexford.

Based on the recommendations of this report both the Arts department and Economic Development department will work closely with a newly appointed Wexford Film Co-coordinator to develop the ‘Screen Wexford’ website which will be a user friendly one stop shop to promote the development of film in the county and attract film companies to the region.

This website will include a visual database of film locations in Wexford, list local film crew and cast, catering, accommodation, transport and companies in the county.  In addition it will provide on-going and up to date information on training opportunities in screen and film and other funding opportunities as they arise.
